James D. Wilson, Professor of English at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, will speak on "Providence Gone Awry: Religion in Mark Twain's Later Career" under the auspices of the Center's Distinguished Academic Visitors program. The author of books, articles, and reviews in the field of Mark Twain Studies, Professor Wilson is the Executive Coordinator of the Mark Twain Circle of America and co-editor of the forthcoming Mark Twain Encyclopedia.
